This Eco-Lodge hotel has 16 bungalows, all with direct ocean views of the Golfo de Dulce.  Lapa Rios is probably the best known and most written up eco-lodge in the country, achieving the elusive 5 leaf certification in Costa Rica's government sponsored Sustainable Tourism Program, Each bungalow offers a great deal of privacy with a private balcony facing the ocean.  Each balcony comes equipped with a hammock, lounge chairs, and sitting chairs. One can easily sit on the balcony for hours staring at the ocean or observing the myriad wildlife which calls the Lapa Rios property home. Lapa Rios is ideal for honeymoon in Costa Rica couples and families on a Costa Rica vacation alike.  Bungalows 1 - 7 come equipped with 2 queen beds; the remaining bungalows come equipped with king beds.

Located 12 miles South of Puerto Jimenez near Playa Carbonera, and is set in a private nature reserve which spreads over 1,000 acres of Central America's last remaining lowland tropical rainforest in Costa Rica, Lapa Rios Ecolodge overlooks the pristine point where the Golfo Dulce meets the wild Pacific Ocean, a destination matching everyone's idea of paradise.
