Celeste Mountain Lodge is a Responsible Tourism establishment, located in Bijagua de Upala, the door to the Volcano Tenorio National Park and its amazing Rio Celeste (Blue River). An authentic rural area, of great natural beauty, with lots of forest and lots to do, yet so accessible. Celeste Mountain Lodge is unique for its concept and profound sustainable philosophy, its innovations, its details and original decoration, its contemporary, minimalist architecture integrated into the environment.

This Hotel has 8 thatched roofed villas and 22 rooms, each spacious with an ocean view, terrace or balcony. The bungalows feature king sized beds with "Swiss" quality orthopedic mattresses, wooden floors, and air conditioning. Private bathrooms include enclosed shower and two-person Jacuzzi tubs, with window view. One of the bungalows has been transformed into a "Honeymoon Bungalow" with elevated bed and private garden. All of the rooms on the second floor are built in such a way that a/c is not needed.

A total of 32 units among individual bungalows and buildings, seem to be floating on the extended surrounding water mirrors, ponds and pools. L'Acqua Viva -live water- is the element of Nature, which gives life to this Resort and appears again and again, with its freshness, its energy and its deepness, in every corner.
